Services

Painting & Finishing Services for Hudson Valley Homes and Businesses

Every PaintXperts service follows the same approach: identify what the surface actually needs, prepare it properly, and apply premium materials with care.

The standard

Whether it’s a single room in Kingston or a full exterior in Woodstock, the standard doesn’t change

Nine services sit on this page and they look like nine different trades. They are not. Washing an exterior back to sound substrate, degreasing a cabinet door, grinding a garage slab and conditioning a staircase before stain are the same discipline applied to different surfaces — get the surface right and a premium coating will hold.

Choose a service below to learn how we approach it, what’s included, and what it typically costs.

Every job, whichever service

Four stages, in this order

  1. 01

    Walkthrough

We come to the property. Surfaces get measured, substrate condition gets recorded, and you get a written scope — not a number shouted from the driveway.

  2. 02

    Preparation

Cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, priming. This is where most of the hours go and where the lifespan of the finish is decided.

  3. 03

    Finish

Premium materials applied in the right order with the right product for the surface, each coat allowed to cure before the next goes on.

  4. 04

    Walk it back

We go through the work with you, fix what you point at, and take our masking and our mess with us.

What it costs

Before you compare quotes, read this

Most painters won't talk about price until they're standing in your kitchen. We put real Hudson Valley ranges in writing — interior rooms, exterior repaints, cabinet refinishing, deck staining and epoxy — so you can plan before you call.

Questions

Common questions

Do you provide the paint and materials?
Yes. We supply all materials using trusted brands like Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore, or work with client-provided products if preferred.
How do you prepare surfaces before painting?
Preparation is the core of our process. This includes cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming as needed to ensure proper adhesion and a long-lasting finish.
Can you combine services in one job?
Frequently, and it usually saves money. Interior and cabinet work in the same visit shares the setup, and exterior painting, staining and repairs share the season and the access. Raise everything you are considering at the walkthrough so the scope can be sequenced properly rather than quoted twice.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We provide detailed written estimates after reviewing the project scope, either through an on-site walkthrough or project details you provide.
How far in advance should I schedule my project?
Scheduling depends on the season and project size. Exterior work books up quickly in spring and summer, so we recommend reaching out as early as possible.
